Did the apostles sin or burn with passion?

First key scripture:

Apostle Paul wrote, "Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do. But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion" (1 Corinthians 7:8,9 (NIV)). According to Strong's Concordance, the term 'to burn with passion' was derived from the word 'pyrousthai', which is transliterated from the word 'puroó' (4448).

Apostle Paul declared only two options to deal with the 'burn of passion', which are either self-control or marriage.

Second key scripture:

Apostle Paul also wrote, "Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn" (2 Corinthians 11:28,29 (NIV))? According to Strong's Concordance, 'inwardly burn' was derived from the word 'pyroumai', which is also transliterated from the word 'puroó' (4448).

Apostle Paul stated that he 'inwardly burned', which indicates that he chose to manage the 'burn of passion' through self-control, but not through the physical release of passion in marriage. By choosing to manage the 'burn of passion' with self-control, Apostle Paul allowed his natural bodily functions to be fulfilled during his sleep and dreams. This conclusion was derived from the obvious fact that the frequent release of 'passion' prevents it from building up to the point of being able to cause the 'burn'; therefore, the presence of Paul's 'inward burn' means he was abstaining from acts connected to reproductive immorality. Apostle Paul was celibate.

Maybe Paul's 'inward burn of passion' was the thorn in his side, which humbled him. Paul wrote, "I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness"" (2 Corinthians 12:7-9 (NIV)).

Commentary

Habitual sin becomes the master of the one who indulges in self-gratification. It becomes the habitual master, and it controls the mind, body, and soul. The Messiah said you become the slave to sin (John 8:34; Romans 6:6,7; Romans 6:16; 2 Peter 2:18,19; 1 Corinthians 6:18). If it wasn't your master, you could stop, but you don't stop because it is your master, and you are the slave. You cannot serve two masters because you will eventually prefer to serve one master more than the other master (Matthew 6:24). Sin leads to death, but righteousness leads to life (Romans 6:16; James 1:14,15).

Refuse to release the 'burn of passion' during just one 'enticement', and overcoming future 'enticements' becomes easier and easier.

Learn the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:32).

The Messiah sacrificed Himself on the cross to defeat all sin. Sin cannot enslave you, if The Messiah is your master (Hebrews 9:26; Romans 6:6,7)!!!

The Messiah disarmed and triumphed over the rulers and authorities of darkness, so He has given His believers the power to take every thought captive (Colossians 2:15; 2 Corinthians 10:5).

When the devil tried to tempt The Messiah, The Messiah always answered, "it is written..." and then quoted a scripture (Matthew 4:4,7,10). Follow The Messiah's teachings and example.

"Then Jesus said to him, "Go, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only'" (Matthew 4:10 (NASB)).

"If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace" (Hebrews 10:26-29 (NIV))?

This webpage answers the following questions:

Did the apostles sin or burn with passion? What does it mean 'to burn with passion'? Was Apostle Paul tempted to sin? Did Apostle Paul or the disciples sin? Was Apostle Paul married or single and celibate?

(I pray to Jesus/Yeshua for forgiveness because "It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret" (Ephesians 5:12 (NIV)).  As a shepherd should rescue one of his endangered flock on the Sabbath, so then shouldn't people be rescued from their secret sins.)
