How to lose weight and control your weight - Biblical revelation

The mystery of weight loss and weight control is solved in The Holy Bible

This is not a temporary diet program; it will permanently change your thinking and mind, which will cause you to lose a majority of your body fat and reveal your God given physique.

Do you like to eat dirt? Are you hungry for dirt? No, dirt doesn't taste good. You don't receive pleasure from eating dirt, so you don't want to eat it.

Gluttony is a result of seeking pleasures of the flesh.
The Holy Bible directs us to avoid gluttony (Philippians 3:19; Deuteronomy 21:20; Proverbs 23:19-21 and 28:7).
The Holy Bible directs us to avoid pleasures of the flesh (Romans 8:5-8 and 13:13,14; 1 John 2:15,16; Galatians 5:16-21 and 6:8).

The mystery of weight loss and weight control is solved by learning that the taste of food is a pleasure of the flesh, but the purpose of food is the nourishment of the body. Does this mean our biological demands require us to contradict the teachings of The Holy Bible? No. There is a difference in PURPOSE between eating food to survive the day and eating food for taste to receive pleasures of the flesh. When you learn to eat food for the purpose God intended, instead of for your pleasure, you will receive your God given physique.

If you are overweight, you are eating food to survive the day, AND you are tasting food to receive pleasures of the flesh.

You go back for a second plate of food, not because you need the extra food to survive the day, but because you receive pleasure from its taste. One plate of food per mealtime is more than enough food for you to survive the day. Eating any food in excess of what your body requires to survive the day is just a waste: a waste of money, a waste of food, a waste of plant life, a waste of animals life, a waste in the toilet, and a waste of your God given physique. But you already know that, so on to the main point.

Don't eat a second plate of food, which will stretch your stomach. Instead of going back for a second plate of food, eat smaller meals, and then snack between meals, if necessary, to keep your stomach as shrunken as possible.

The Holy Bible reveals that avoiding "taste", a pleasure of the flesh, is the "key" to "unlocking" your God given physique. Remove the pleasurable taste of food and you remove your desire to eat food. Yes, God has answered your prayers, and He is going to perform a miracle with you and your body. Hallelujah!!!

It used to boggle my mind when I heard skinny people say that they forgot to eat a meal. Now, we know how that can happen.

Train your brain to remember that food is NOT pleasurable. Train your brain to remember that you do NOT receive pleasure from eating food. How? Do NOT eat food that tastes good to you. Your brain will soon learn that food is NOT a source of pleasure. Instead of food, there are plenty of other sources of pleasure your brain can seek such as Christian music, fellowship, etc.

Avoid eating manmade foods. Instead, eat only bland or nasty foods produced by God to train your brain.

  • List of bland foods for meals: rice, cabbage, cabbage, and more cabbage (boiled or fresh), egg whites (protein), salad (add tomatoes and cucumbers for moisture), yellow squash, skinless chicken breast (baked or grilled), fish (baked or grilled), broccoli, onions, garlic, celery, etc.

  • List of snack foods (if needed, not wanted): carrots, baby carrots, celery, sweet onions, grapefruit (snacking on fruits throws off my blood sugar level and makes me sleepy), etc.

  • List of nasty foods (if you desire to eat extra food): brussel sprouts, limes, lemons, egg plant, zucchini, onions, green squash, dill pickles, garlic, etc.

  • Sources of fat: omega 3 fatty acid (vitamin/supplement), flax seeds, salmon, soybeans, limited unsalted nuts, limited avocados, etc.

  • No tasty seasonings: no pepper, no salt, no seasoning salt, no cayenne flakes, no chili powder, no paprika, etc.

  • No tasty sauces, syrups or dressings: no spaghetti sauce, no oil, no gravy, no soy sauce, no hot sauce, etc.

  • No preservatives: choose fresh or frozen food instead of canned food, etc.

  • No tasty deep fat frying: no lard, no oil, no butter, no bacon grease, etc.

  • No tasty sugar or artificial sweeteners: no dextrose (sugar), no sucralose (sugar), no malto-dextrin (sugar), no saccharin, etc.

Examples of manmade foods to avoid: pancakes and syrups, pizza, pasta and sauces, extra crispy chicken, ice cream, cake, cookies, etc.

Examples of manmade ingredients to avoid: modified food starch, dextrose (sugar), corn syrup, mono sodium glutamate, etc.

Fruits are produced by God, but they can be very tasty due to their natural sugar (fructose) content. Therefore, be aware eating certain types of fruit can trigger your desire to "taste" food for pleasure, which will sabotage your brain training, and cause you to eat extra food. Remember to eat bland foods. Grapefruit might be a possible choice for a bland or nasty fruit. (God produced fruit, but He produced poison plants too, and we don't eat them either).

Early in this training, If that nagging voice tells you to eat or you feel hungry after eating one plate of food, eat food from your list of 'nasty' foods to train your brain. In a very short time, that nagging voice will be permanently removed from your thoughts. This will also empower The Holy Spirit who gives you the fruits of The Holy Spirit (self-control).

Eating food to "fill up" or until "you are full" is an erroneous custom, which we must end forever.

While losing weight, you might feel tired or sleepy from time to time. Do not attempt to self medicate by drinking caffeinated or sugar spiked drinks. Instead, go to bed earlier than usual or take a fifteen minute catnap during your lunch break. Your body will adjust to the reduced food consumption (caloric intake) as your body weight normalizes. Be patient. Once your body weight normalizes, you'll no longer feel tired or sleepy during the day.

Please read, "What is the way God provided to defeat temptation?"

Part 2 coming soon: "Aroma" or "smell" of food is a pleasure of the flesh, which can trigger the brain to relapse, causing you to eat extra food.

Commentary

It is possible to believe in The Messiah without accepting Him as your Savior and Lord of your heart, soul, and mind. It's also possible to believe in The Messiah without receiving The Holy Spirit. The devil is a prime example of one who believes in The Messiah, but hasn't been baptized in The name of The Father, and The Son, and The Holy Spirit (James 2:19). All the devil worshippers, who are 'human beings', also believe in God, but haven't been baptized in The name of The Father, and The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Other believers (in Judaism, the Pharisees, and even many unsaved 'Christians') who have failed to develop personal and loving relationships with The Messiah, haven't been baptized in The Holy Spirit, so The Messiah said He doesn't 'know' those believers. Sadly, there are many Mormon, Catholic, and also many 'Christian' believers, whom think they are 'saved' but are not going to 'find' the 'narrow way' to the 'small gate' of Heaven (Matthew 7:14). Those believers will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 7:21-23).

A 'saved' Christian's body becomes a temple for the Holy Spirit, who is a living gift given to you by God (1 Corinthians 6:19). The Holy Spirit urges Christians to fellowship with other Christians, and urges them to study The Bible, which is the word of God. Equally important, The Holy Spirit urges Christians to maintain a personal, loving relationship with The Father and The Son. A 'saved' Christian should be reminded, and feel urged, to pray at least five times a day: after waking from sleep, before each meal, and before going to sleep (Luke 22:17-21; Colossians 3:17). These things are not burdensome in any way for a Christian who is filled with The Holy Spirit, despite all the socio-economic demands of the world on our daily lives. Are you all talk and no action, which is also referred to as, having faith but no works (James 2:14-26)?

The daily prayer is quite short, and yet, it includes forgiving other people for their sins (also known as debts or trespasses), so forgiveness is obviously very important to God. If our Father is to forgive the sins of His children, those Christians must forgive the people who have sinned against them (Colossians 3:13). If believers fail to forgive other people for their sins, especially if the sins are so minor as not to be referenced in The 10 Commandments, the salvation of those believers is questionable. The Messiah shed His blood and sacrificed His life on the cross to forgive our sins. What have you done to forgive?

Do you love God with all your heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:36-40)? One way to know for sure is to analyze whether or not you keep His commandments, which are not burdensome (1 John 5:2,3). If you truly love and follow The Messiah, you will keep His commandments without even having to think about keeping them because love fulfills the law (Romans 13:8-10). As you love The Messiah, so you should also love your neighbors as you love yourself. You must love because it's The Messiah's first commandment and because God is love (1 John 4:8). It's easy to love those who love you, but have you learned how to love your enemies yet (Matthew 5:44-47)? Your enemies are waiting to become Christians and your greatest allies.

Have you heard of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20)? How are you doing with it? Would you say you are hot, cold, or lukewarm (Revelation 3:15,16). Would you say you're a temple for The Holy Spirit? Do you think The Messiah really knows you? God loves you so much He sent His Son to die for you, and He wants you to be born again and join Him in Heaven for eternity. Getting saved by God's grace is a miracle, so please honor and respect His grace by learning and living His scriptures. If God wanted you to merely sit back and revel in your salvation through God's grace, there would be little need for a majority of the scriptures in The Holy Bible.

I'll join you in prayer for us all.

Please read, The Messiah said, "I do not know you".
