Why are some Muslims radical Islamist?
Islam is a religion founded on a book called the qur'an/koran.
A muslim is a follower of the Islamic religion.
Islam has become influential due to several directives written in the qur'an/koran:
-
The qur'an/koran directs muslims to kill all people/'infidels' who are not muslims.
-
If the children of muslim families refuse to become muslim, the muslim families are directed to cut them off, which then motivates the children and future generations to become muslims.
-
The qur'an/koran gives permission to muslims to lie to all people/'infidels' who are not muslims, especially when trying to convert 'infidels' into muslims for the Islamic religion. (A Man is told that a sensual paradise awaits him in which he will be wed to many virgins, and a woman is told that a sensual paradise awaits her in which a man will satisfy all her desires).
In a number of writings (2:225, 3:28, 3:54, 9:3, 16:106, 40:28, and 66:2), the qur'an established the foundation for muslims to break oaths, lie, violate treaties, and scheme against 'infidels'. Allah, the islamic god, is described as “the best of schemers” in 3:54, 8:30, 10:21, and 13:42. Muslims developed the concept of 'al-Taqiyya', which means to 'deceive' or 'lie' for Islam.
Examples of islamic writings which direct muslims to kill all non-mulims/'infidels':
-
Qur'an, surah/chapter 4:89 – “... seize them and kill them (non-believers) wherever you find them ...”
-
Qur'an, surah/chapter 7:4 - “... if you encounter ... those who disbelieve, strike their necks … Behead them”
-
Qur'an, surah/chapter 8:12 - “Give firmness to the Believers (muslims): I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers (all non-muslims): you smite them above their necks and smite all their fingertips off them.”
-
Qur'an, surah/chapter 47:4 - “When ye encounter the infidels, strike off their heads ...”
The muslims who strictly follow the writings in the qur'an/koran are most likely the radical islamist. Fortunately, not many muslims strictly follow the directives of the qur'an/koran at this time. However, prophecy dictates we will experience far more incidents of radical islamist in our future, and the recent activities of these extremists might be just the beginning of this prophecy.
