How does the Devil Attack?

The devil desires to destroy evangelism, our faith in God, our salvation, and God's Kingdom. He desires to rule Heaven, but since he lost the battle over Heaven, the devil has been waging war against humans to rule the earth (John 12:31). Satan is a murderer and the father of lies (John 8:44).

Vectors of Attack:
  • The devil masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14).

  • His servants masquerade as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:15).

  • False prophets and false teachers lead many astray (Matthew 24:11-13, 24).

  • He uses nonbelievers, muslim radicals, devil worshipers (Matthew 7:15), and even unsaved believers (Matthew 7:21-23) to attack and develop evil civilizations. He blinds their minds (2 Corinthians 4:4).

Individual Attack Strategies:

The devil desires for you to backslide incrementally from God, day after day, until you're lead astray

(2 Corinthians 11:3-4).

  • He influences nonbelievers to subtly work against you in every way possible (Ephesians 4:14).

  • He recruits people to persecute you (Matthew 10:21-22).

  • He tries to turn your unsaved children against you (Mark 13:12).

  • He tries to turn your spouse and relatives against you.

  • He influences your neighbors to blast anti-Christian music all hours of the night.

  • He influences your supervisors to write negative job performance appraisals.

  • He influences your administrator to promote evil people above you.

  • He throws temptations at you during your weakest moments (Matthew 4:1-11; Ephesians 6:16; John 13:2).

  • He motivates coworkers to whisper unholy things to you.

  • He gives you some rewards to motivate your self-pride and self-reliance.

  • He ties to steal your saved children and relatives from God (John 10:10).

  • He creates extra work to cause your exhaustion.

General Attack Strategies:
  • The devil magnifies greed and motivates worldly desires.

  • He causes people to become divisive and form different religious denominations (1 Corinthians 1:10-13).

  • He directs false prophets and false teachers to itch the ears of unsaved believers (2 Timothy 4:3).

  • He feeds addictions to: pornography, online games that motivate players to practice killing, gambling, demonic music (Exumer), feminine sensuality, overeating food, drug and alcohol abuse, etc.

Global Attack Strategies:
  • Satan orchestrates political corruption and creates empires through unsaved, greedy politicians.

  • He arranges for nonbelievers and unsaved believers to be elected to political positions in federal, state, and city governments.

  • He establishes laws and city ordinances to make it illegal for Christians to hand out tracts in public.

  • He establishes laws which legalize unholy things like same sex marriage, abortion, etc.

  • He sets nation against nation in warfare to increase killing and destruction.

  • He destroys with famines, droughts, earthquakes and other disasters.

  • The anti-Christ will come among us performing wonders, trying to lead us astray (Matthew 24:24).

Tools used to Attack:
  • Muslim extremists, nonbelievers, devil worshipers, and even unsaved believers, etc.

  • Televisions to show programs which motivate support for Lucifer, witches, ghosts, demons, etc.

  • Computers, smart phones, and gaming consoles to feed addictions.

  • Tarot cards, crystal balls, and Ouija boards to lead the occult and other people astray.

  • Germs to make people sick and diseased (Acts 10:38).

  • Vehicles to cause deadly crashes.

  • Weapons to injure and kill.

  • Etc.

Demons Attack by Possessing and Influencing:

Demons or unclean spirits influence nonbelievers, muslim radicals, devil worshipers, and even unsaved believers to: seduce, entice, deceive, persecute, tempt, lie, trick, mislead, accuse, steal, kill, sicken, hate, compliment, exalt, reward, argue, antagonize, pester, threaten, captivate, control, lust, anger, incite, befriend, sicken, destroy, surprise, attack, corrupt, divide, confuse, undermine, etc.

Commentary

Briefly, the devil has succeeded in motivating nonbelievers and unsaved believers to change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, to change the name of The Messiah from Yeshua into Jesus, to change Christmas from the birth of Christ into Santa Clause, to change Merry Christmas into Happy Holidays, to change Pascha from the resurrection of Christ into the Easter Bunny, to legalize same sex marriages, to legalize abortions, to create the belief that God's Commandments are dead and that endless sinning will be forgiven (1 John 3:8). Not to mention the endless wars, starvation, poverty, false religions, the church of satan, corruption, greed, hording, etc.
