The guide about offensive spiritual warfare and scriptural prayers

We pray for God to implant our prayers into the hearts, souls, and minds of our 'enemies'

Please, first read, "The guide about spiritual warfare for prayer warriors".

Jesus (Yeshua) commanded us to love Him 'with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind' (Matthew 22:37). Coincidently, or intentionally, our 'enemies' chose these same three areas in us as targets for their attacks. Therefore, we can also pray for God's will to be done with our 'enemies' hearts, souls, and minds.

"But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you" (Luke 6:27-28 (NIV)). Similar scriptures are: Matthew 5:44,45; Romans 12:14; and 1 Peter 3:9.

We pray for God (YaH) to implant our prayers into the hearts, souls, and minds of people whom claim to be disbelievers, atheists, witches, warlocks, sorcerers, witch doctors, mediums, fortune tellers, devil worshipers, seances practitioners, ouija board players, occult participants, and everyone else who God (YaH) wants to receive our prayers.

When Jesus (Yeshua) went into the wilderness where the devil tried to tempt Him, The Son of God resisted the temptations by saying, "it is written" followed by quotes from the scriptures, over and over again (Matthew 4:4-10). The Son of God knew the 'word of God' is a powerful weapon to use in spiritual warfare.

Scriptural prayers about offensive spiritual warfare for prayer warriors -

  • “Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” (Luke 9:1)

  • "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)).

  • "The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NIV)).

  • "When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death" (James 1:13-15 (NIV)).

  • "For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you. But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body" (1 Peter 4:3-6 (NIV)).

  • "Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness" (Matthew 10:1 (NIV)).

  • "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other" (Ephesians 4:31-32 (NIV)).

  • "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God" (Leviticus 19:31 (NIV)).

  • "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead" (Deuteronomy 18:10,11 (NIV)).

  • "“In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God" (Ephesians 4:26-30 (NIV)).

  • "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other" (Ephesians 4:31,32 (NIV)).

  • "Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming" (Ephesians 4:14 (NIV)).

  • "But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you" (Luke 11:20 (NIV)).

  • "Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you. Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do" (James 1:21-25 (NIV)).

  • "Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips" (Colossians 3:5-8 (NIV)).

  • "Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you have tasted that the Lord is good" (1 Peter 2:1-3 (NIV)).

  • "Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will" (Romans 12:1,2 (NIV)).

  • "What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up" (James 4:1-10 (NIV)).

  • "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son" (John 3:16-18 (NIV)).

  • "Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law" (Romans 13:8-10 (NIV)).

Commentary

If you struggle with praying, then you need to identify the cause(s) and then implement corrective action.

There could be several causes for your struggling with prayer:

  1. You might not have The Holy Spirit with you (John 9:31);

  2. You might be avoiding the 'perception of failure' in your relationship with God;

  3. Your willpower might have been taken captive by the devil (2 Timothy 2:26)...

To correct the cause(s):

  1. Analyze what is involved in getting 'saved' to determine if there is something you overlooked (forgiveness of others?), which could be preventing The Holy Spirit from empowering you;

  2. Focus a majority of your prayers on things that are within God's will or plan, so that a majority of your prayers will be fulfilled by God, which will reward you with 'successful' prayers;

  3. To regain your willpower from the captivity of the devil, repent for your sins (2 Timothy 2:25), and protect yourself with the Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18)...

Do not allow the devil to tempt you away from praying - before, during, and after praying. God could easily arrange for us to pray endlessly, but God wants us to use our free will to choose to talk to Him. Blessed are those who choose to freely and willingly praise God in their prayers! Get blessed!!!

God wants us to pray, therefore, He wants to fulfill our prayers, if they are according to His plan, and His plan is far better than any plan we can create (James 4:3; 1 John 5:14; John 15:7). When God doesn't fulfill particular prayers, we should ask ourselves why those prayers are not part of God's plan. Do we need to change our prayers, change ourselves, wait for God's timing, or what? Pray about why those particular prayers are not part of God's plan. If you are in good health, consider fasting as part of your devotion and determination.

Learn to become more aware of The Holy Spirit. When the thought of praying comes to your mind, don't tell yourself that you've already made plans to pray later on. The Holy Spirit knows what is going on in the spiritual realm, and there could be a very good reason for you to pray immediately.

Learn to enjoy your prayer time with God. Be creative, like an artist, and let yourself get into it. God is my spiritual companion, and I really, really enjoy the closeness of our relationship. God is waiting for you to join Him with all your heart and love!
